With the end of the school year, this summer brings a new challenge.\u00a0 In the Kenan Fellowship, I hopefully find a group of hard working and like-minded educators who want to improve their classrooms and learn something new along the way.<\/p>\n
This is my fourth summer on a traditional school calendar and it is a running joke between me and my wife that I go a little stir-crazy after 2 weeks of sitting around the house.\u00a0 Through the fellowship, I can’t wait to work with NC State faculty to learn how to code!<\/p>\n
While Programming an Arduino Uno to solve a global health issue sounds intense, it is part of growing as a teacher.\u00a0 If we expect our students to succeed during the year with this project, we have to learn it ourselves over the summer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
