Thankfully, today I was visited by Craig Tucker and Lisa Hibler from Kenan Fellows! Now I had met Craig previously from my interview process, but I’ve only corresponded with Lisa from email, so it was nice to have a face to the name.<\/p>\n
We had our meeting go under way with both Jacob and I present. We went through some logistics as to what our personal expectations and experiences were with the program and some general thoughts. I know I’ve only had good things to boast about concerning Jacob and the staff here at USDA-NRCS…and it was enlightening and flattering to hear that I was “exceeding expectations” from my mentor as well. All in all, we’ve had a great time with the program thus far.<\/p>\n
After debriefing me on some of my obligations and responsibilities within the Kenan Fellows program, I now have a clear understanding as to everything I need to get accomplished because, honestly, I was starting to get a little worried as to where my folder was!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
