In doing this program, and as a beginning teacher who has completed only his FIRST year of teaching, I&#8217;ve been in programs similar to Kenan Fellows&#8230;and one of the main things I&#8217;ve been able to take back are the experiences that I would have never been able to have the opportunity to partake in beforehand while making a number of networks that have helped me along my career.<\/p>\n<p>After being a part of the Teaching Fellows program, I expect this program to give me insight into the USDA as well as provide me with resources that I can use in my classroom, including hands-on experiences for my students, that I can use for as long as I stay here in Duplin County (and perhaps even elsewhere). I also hope to gain knowledge from fellow Kenan Fellows, especially my cohorts here in Duplin County that can help me with teaching practices that require years of experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello everyone and welcome to my blog!
