{"id":32,"date":"2017-04-26T21:29:27","date_gmt":"2017-04-27T01:29:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/old.kenanfellows.org\/2017-ncesari\/?p=32"},"modified":"2017-04-26T21:29:27","modified_gmt":"2017-04-27T01:29:27","slug":"challenges-successes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/old.kenanfellows.org\/2017-ncesari\/2017\/04\/26\/challenges-successes\/","title":{"rendered":"Challenges &amp; Successes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">My Students Discover experience so far has been one filled with many challenges and successes. \u00a0Surprisingly enough, my team came up with lesson ideas with ease. \u00a0I think the nature of the project we\u2019re working with really lent itself to grade-level-appropriate and content-related lessons, so we were certainly lucky in that regard. \u00a0I also have to give a shoutout to my team, while I\u2019m on the subject. \u00a0We have a really great dynamic &#8211; Stephanie works really well with us non-science folks, helping to bridge the gap and teach us when we\u2019re not sure what\u2019s going on, really making the content accessible. \u00a0Lena is a seasoned teacher with great knowledge and experience about teaching. \u00a0Her background in elementary education and teaching AG has been really helpful when it comes to literacy and differentiation, which is something we\u2019ve tried to highlight in our lessons. \u00a0Rachael has a background in science, so she has been really encouraging when we don\u2019t fully understand the science we\u2019re working with, and loves to get work done!
