Unfortunately, this did not happen. I was left scrambling to find &#8220;free&#8221; opportunities to find into my already packed schedule. I came across Microbiomes earlier this summer when I was following NCSU and CALS on Twitter. I was immediately interested. Then this fall, I got an email from Craig Tucker about it. I was so intrigued by the topic, and I already teach Microbiology anyway so this was a perfect fit (and it was free). Then, couple of weeks ago, I got an email from the NEED (National Energy Education Development) Project. Another free workshop \ud83d\ude42 Again, I already teach Energy so this was a natural fit for me. I love that the PRL plan has allowed me to tailor my PD this year to things already do.
