I have lived in Wilmington most of my life and I can honestly say I did not know about all the amazing research that is happening at UNCW and along our coast. I did know that UNCW was there of course, but I often thought that the professors would think of me as a &#8220;bother&#8221;. The truth is the college professors could not be more willing to help teachers in the middle and high schools learn more about content and their research.
