Part of the deal of being a CMS Kenan Fellow was that each of us had to create a PBL for a specific grade level. \u00a0All of the final PBL’s \u00a0will then in turn be combined together and published for the county. \u00a0I have chosen to create a 5th grade Force and Motion PBL entitled, “Theme Park Thrills.” \u00a0Knowing the importance of 21st century skills, this PBL encompasses the 4 C’s (creativity, collaboration, communication and critical thinking) where teams are challenged to create models of their theme park rides that demonstration each of Newton’s Laws of Motion. \u00a0I plan to roll this project out with my students in the beginning of February. \u00a0I’ll be sure to blog about the results of this project.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
