I wanted to work for the district office and represent children of all languages, countries, and cultures. <\/p>\n<p>When I began my career in 2013, I was a substitute teacher. Afterwards I spent the next five years as a Kindergarten Teacher.  I loved teaching Kindergarten because I enjoyed watching all of my students discover new things everyday. In Kindergarten, all children are English learners. <\/p>\n<p>Last year, I served as a K-2 ESL teacher to expand my reach and grow my skills. It was the most rewarding job because I worked with half of the students at my school. I also served as an interpreter for the school&#8217;s English learners and their families. I thought I had the best job in the whole world and then&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>This year, I accepted my dream job of Title III Resource Teacher. This is the job I have always wanted and dreamed of. I didn&#8217;t accept the position because it was the easiest job. I accepted this position because it would enable me to grow as an educator. It&#8217;s also the one that scares me the most. Yet, I believe I was chosen because I have special skills. My job responsibilities entail: meeting\/supporting ESL teachers\/schools, creating and delivering professional development, and designing curriculum.
